Ph.D. student in Computer Science
Machine Learning or Statistical Machine Translation

Applicants are expected to have:

1. An excellent completed university degree (Master or Bachelor) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics (the degree should have been completed recently)

2. Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

• Pattern Recognition
• Statistics
• Machine Learning

3. Excellent Programming skills in C/C++ as well as system and programming experience in Unix/Linux. The applicant should be able to write modular and maintainable software in a cooperative environment.

4. A strong motivation as well as the ability to cooperate in a team.

5. Good knowledge of English.
